Search terms
A name, place, or other phrase entered into a search box is passed to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Lamar County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own servers. The provider’s policy controls what happens after transmission.
Messages and contact details
An email or contact message can include the sender’s address, name, and any details supplied in the message. Those details are retained as needed to read and answer the request. They are not shared outside the operating organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Technical Data from a Visit
Standard server and analytics systems may collect technical details when a page loads. The information can include:
- IP address or a shortened network identifier
- Browser type and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time on each
- Referring page or site, when provided
- Access timestamps
Cookies and similar tools
Cookies may help measure how visitors use the pages and keep certain functions working. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some features may behave differently when they are disabled.
How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used for the following ordinary operating purposes:
- Keeping the pages available and responsive
- Sending a search request to the selected partner service
- Learning which pages are useful to visitors
- Finding faults, abuse, and technical issues
- Showing advertising that may be relevant to broad interests
Outside Links and Services
Pages link to Sheriff Brad White’s jail resources, booking and court portals such as the Lamar County clerk, the Georgia Department of Corrections, federal locators, local news, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the receiving organization’s privacy notice governs. Lamar County Busted Mugshots does not control its data practices, retention, security, or uptime.
Some advertising partners may measure activity across more than one website to support targeted advertising. That tracking occurs on the partner’s systems, not through control of a government record or jail file.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by the operator. It may nevertheless be available to the limited groups below when needed for the stated purpose:
- Search partners that process an entered query
- Analytics providers that measure page use
- Advertising networks serving or measuring ads
- Law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order
Security Limits
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for the information under the operator’s control. No internet-connected service is completely secure, however. The operator cannot promise that data will be breach-proof or that a transmission will never be intercepted.
Visitors Under 18
The pages are intended for adults. Lamar County Busted Mugshots does not knowingly collect personal data from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information, a parent or guardian may use the contact route to request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, a person may ask about data held by the operator and request:
- A copy of personal data maintained about the requester
- Correction of an inaccurate detail
- Deletion of information that can lawfully be removed
- Opt-out of certain processing or communications
Send a clear request through Contact Us. A request involving a search partner, analytics company, ad network, sheriff, court, or corrections agency may need to be sent to that organization as well.
Notice Changes
This notice can be revised when the service, partners, or legal requirements change. The updated wording takes effect when posted here, along with a new effective date if one is supplied. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the changed notice.
